Obtaining 'The Diplomat' Title in WoW

Getting Diplomat WoW

Here is a nice guide for the Alliance player to become "The Diplomat". For Alliance players to truly become masters and level characters as quickly as can be done, you should check into Zygor's Guide. They are the best guides out there and can really help you improve in all areas.

As players advance further in the World of Warcraft sometimes it can be hard to find fun things to do to fill up their time online. One thing that many people are turning to is reputation farming with obscure factions for titles and other achievements and rewards. One such title is ‘the Diplomat’ and although this one requires you to get exalted with three different factions it is actually quite easy to get. If you want to gain this title you will need to get exalted with Timbermaw Hold in Kalimdor and with the Kurenai and Sporeggar in Outland. The amount of rep gained for doing quests or killing for these factions has been buffed recently by Blizzard making this a relatively quick achievement to obtain.

Timbermaw Hold

Not locations on many people’s radar these days, but Felwood and Winterspring are the places to be for this faction. Beginning with quests in Felwood to kill the evil furbolgs there and to collect feathers that you can hand in five at a time for more rep. You should also get a Deadwood Ritual Totem from the mobs there and can hand that in for a nice chunk of rep. Once you have completed the quests and are neutral or higher with the faction you can head through the tunnel to Winterspring. On the other side you can complete more quests with Timbermaw Hold and farm a new rep item, Winterfall Spirit Beads. Again these are handed in five at a time. Similar to the totem available in Felwood you should also get a drop of Winterfall Ritual Totem whilst grinding in Winterspring and you should also get an Empty Firewater Flask which starts another quest.
One important thing to note is that after you become revered with Timbermaw Hold you will no longer gain reputation just from killing mobs other than for the named mob in each camp. This means that if you save all of your beads and the totems and flask to hand in at revered you will get exalted much faster.

If you are interested in other obscure factions, while in Winterspring you should check out Frostsaber Rock at the very north of the map. A lone NPC known as Chal Fairwind of the Wintersaber Trainers faction provides repeatable quests for this faction that coincide with the Timbermaw ones to a certain extent, and this NPC also offers a mount for those who manage to obtain exalted with them.

Sporeggar

In order to raise you reputation quickly with the Sporeggar, you will need to do a lot of grinding in the Zangarmarsh zone of Outland. Starting a little south of Sporeggar there are a couple of quests available to help you reach friendly with them to unlock the quests in Sporeggar itself: The Sporelings’ Plight and Natural Enemies. These will require some grinding in the Spawning Glen. Once you reach friendly reputation you can then pick up the quests Fertile Spores and Now That We’re Friends in Sporeggar. For these quests you will want to follow a path around Marshlight Lake (whilst avoiding the Horde town of Zabra’Jin) and kill Sporebats and Marshwalkers for Fertile Spores whilst killing the Naga you need. Each time you pass through Sporeggar you can pick up the quest to kill Naga again, and can hand in all the Fertile Spores you have. Along the way you should try to pick up Glowcaps, an orange mushroom that acts as currency for the Sporeggar. Once you hit exalted, you can buy a new vanity pet for 30 of these mushrooms, the Tiny Sporebat.

Before you head off to Nagrand for the next faction, you should pick up the quest from Orebor Harborage that leads you into Nagrand and offers a helping hand to start off your Kurenai reputation.

Kurenai

This faction is found in Nagrand, Outland and is one of the easier factions to obtain reputation with. There are several quests available for quick rep but the main repeatable one for these guys is handing in Obsidian Warbeads in stacks of ten. These beads are available from almost all the ogres in Nagrand so you can speed up the grind by following a large circular path around all the ogre camps. The ogres will also award Kurenai reputation for kills all the way up to exalted making it a smooth reputation grind the whole way.

Once you hit exalted reputation level, not only should you now get the title reward ‘the Diplomat’ but you can also talk to the Kurenai quartermaster and purchase a range of Talbuk mounts that are only available from this faction.
